On this site, I'll include everything you need to know about myself and my music. You will find a song
list, music demos, information about myself and more.
I am a middle school band director that enjoys performing. I received my bachelors from UT
Pan American in Edinburg and masters degree from A & I University in Kingsville, Tx. I have performed
with The Dean Canty Orchestra, Tom Kesselring, Southern Country, Valley Express, Rene Sandoval, Grace Valdez, Joe Chapa, and
Bongo Bob. I have also performed with such pros as Mike Vax, Nelson Ned, and Myrone Florene. I
once had the priviledge of performing at a party where Jose Jose was the special guest!
At my gigs, I use a variety of sounds such as jazz guitar, rock guitar, flute, organ, piano, Stevie Wonder harmonica,
trumpet, trombone and various other midi selections using a Yamaha WX5 wind midi controller and several sound modules.
I use only the best in sound reinforcement. The Bose L1 Cylindrical Radiator Loudspeaker and B1 Double Bass
Package is what I use on most gigs. I also use soprano, alto, and/or tenor saxes on my gigs. I have recently
added my vocals to my repetoire of sounds! Check out my demos listed under "demo songs."
Presently, I am employed at McAllen's Embassy Suites performing with Rene Sandoval and The South Texas Jazz Quartet
which on April 7, 2007 opened up for Isaac Hayes in concert. I am also employed by Heritage Village
Retirement, and Sharyland's Cimarron Country Club. I have recently performed at McAllen Country
Club, Cornerstone Bar & Grill, Espana Mediterranean Cuisine, Yoko's Sushi Bar, Kato's Shushi, Brookstone Retirement, Sweet
Temptations, McAllen Museum Gala 2005, Risotto's Fine Dining Restaurant, and numerous private dinners and events.
I have enjoyed performing gospel and christian music for the past 17 years playing 5 string electric bass as well
as gospel sax & flute.
Thanks for taking a look at my site. Be sure to get in touch with your thoughts and suggestions. I'll be updating from
time to time so please check back.
